Graham Day graduated in Graphics/Film-making in 1980 and joined the BBC as a Camera Assistant working on 16mm film at the Ealing Film Studios. After six years Graham left the BBC to work as a freelance Loader, Focus Puller and Operator on feature films, commercials and music videos. Since 1988 Graham has been working as a Lighting Cameraman gathering considerable experience lighting for film and tape on commercials, drama, music videos, documentaries and corporate productions. He has worked in many different countries around the world and has a current USA I Visa. Graham also has experience as a Director/Cameraman and is developing projects through his company Gfilm. |

Graham was one of the five Director/ Cameramen awarded The Royal Television Society 2001 craft award for Lighting and Camera/Multi-Camera, for the Rex Mundi/Channel Four ground breaking production 'KUMBH MELA The Greatest Show on Earth.' |

Recent work includes 'The English Surgeon' featuring neurosurgeon Henry Marsh travelling to the Ukraine to work with local neurosurgeon Igor Kurilets. Directed by Geoffrey Smith, who had previously directed a 'Your Life in Their Hands' with Henry Marsh for the BBC gaining an RTS award in 2004, 'The English Surgeon' has recently been awarded 'Best International Feature Documentary' at the Hot Docs festival 2008. |
